Scott Adkins Briefly Comments On What To Expect From ‘Doctor Strange’

While we’ve still yet to learn what his role will be in the upcoming film, fans were definitely excited to learn that Doctor Strange had added Scott Adkins to the cast. While speaking with HeyUGuys at the UK Premiere of Criminal, Adkins briefly commented on the first venture into the mystical side of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

When asked about what it was like working on the Scott Derrickson directed film, Adkins had the following to say.

Well, this is a big film but obviously that is a huge film with huge budget and a lot of eyes looking on that project. It was amazing. Great experience. Brilliant working with Benedict Cumberbatch and Mads Mikkelsen. Again…great actors.

As far as what to expect when it comes to Doctor Strange, Adkins assured that  the film is “going to be different” and “a different side of the Marvel Universe. Some psychadelic other dimensions and all sorts of stuff. “Doctor Strange” follows the story of neurosurgeon Doctor Stephen Strange who, after a horrific car accident, discovers the hidden world of magic and alternate dimensions.

“Doctor Strange” is the latest film in Phase 3 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Phase 3’s goal—over the course of four years and nine films—is to introduce audiences to new heroes and continue the adventures of fan favorites.

Doctor Strange hits theaters on November 6, 2016.
