Selma Blair offers her thoughts on the 'Hellboy' reboot film, set to star David Harbour and to be directed by Neil Marshall.
Now actress Selma Blair, who played Hellboy squeeze Liz Sherman, has been the first cast member to address the new production directly. She had nothing but warm words on Twitter, addressing new Hellboy actor David Harbour:
Selma Blair’s Liz Sherman was a big part of Hellboy and and its follow-up The Golden Army. She would almost certainly have reprised her role for the planned third film in the trilogy. It’s a bittersweet time for fans, but Blair’s well wishes should go great lengths to helping them move forward.
The Hellboy reboot will be directed by Games of Thrones helmer Neil Marshal, and star Stranger Things actor David Harbour as the demonic super hero. The titular character was created by Mike Mignola in 1993, and the reboot film is expected to adapt Mignola’s comic book storyline, “Rise of the Blood Queen.”
