Young actor Jacob Tremblay took to Twitter to reveal production on Shane Black’s upcoming reboot of The Predator has wrapped.
Plot details are still under wraps but The Predator — similar to the original 1987 Predator — will feature a group of humans who realize they are being targeted by fierce hunter-aliens, however, the reboot has swapped the jungle setting for the suburbs.
Principal photography on the project kicked off in Vancouver back in July with Black at the helm. Black, who played the character of Hawkins in the original directed by John McTiernan (Die Hard), has also co-written the script for the reboot with Fred Dekker. John Davis, Joel Silver, and Lawrence Gordon, producers of the original have returned to produce the reboot as well.

The film stars Boyd Holbrook, Yvonne Strahovski, Olivia Munn, Trevante Rhodes, Keegan-Michael Key, Sterling K. Brown, Jacob Tremblay, Thomas Jane, Alfie Allen, Augusto Aguilera, Jake Busey and Edward James Olmos.
The Predator is currently slated to hit theaters August 3, 2018.
