Based on Emily VanCamp's comments, it sounds like Sharon Carter is one character who won't be making an appearance in the upcoming 'Avengers: Infinity War'.
“It’s hard to fit Sharon into that, she’s really in ‘Cap’s’ world. She sort of fits into the Captain America movies, that’s where her sort of story lies, but I can tell you it’s going to be like an epic two-parter.”
While it’s a bit unfortunate that there’s a chance we will never see Steve finally find his dance partner, there’s going to be a lot going on in the film which also makes it completely understandable. However, we don’t know what the untiled fourth Avengers film has in store or the future of the Marvel Cinematic Universe following that film.
If Steve Rogers does end up making it out alive, there’s no doubt in my mind that Marvel will try and get Chris Evans to re-up his contract for a fourth Captain America film. What do you think? Would you like to see Steve Rogers and Sharon Carter finally have their moment? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section below.
