Disney Plus’ ‘She-Hulk’ Series Gets A Working Title

The title teases what to expect from the show.

She-Hulk gets a working title from Disney Plus as the series gears up to start production, although whether Tatiana Maslany will be involved remains to be seen.

There’s still some confusion around She-Hulk after Tatiana Maslany denied that she’s been cast as Jennifer Walters for the Disney Plus series from Marvel Studios, but the working title for the film teases the legal aspect to the show. Although the project has plenty of potential, the star’s denial confused plenty of fans, especially since Mark Ruffalo (the Hulk himself!) took to Twitter to welcome the actress onboard when the news surfaced online.

But regardless of if the actress is involved with Disney Plus’ She-Hulk or not, the studio is moving forward with the show as the working title for the series has been revealed thanks to Production Weekly. The series will go into production under Libra, which is obviously a reference to the scales typically seen in the astrological sign as well as the scales of justice. Clearly, Jennifer Walters’ job as a lawyer will play a huge part in She-Hulk.

Is Maslany’s denial just a cover up to try and add some mystery around Disney Plus’ She-Hulk? Was it a way of negotiating with Marvel Studios? What do you want to see from the series when it eventually arrived on the streaming service? Sound-off in the comments below!

In the comics, She-Hulk is the alter-ego of Jennifer Walters, a private attorney and the cousin of Bruce Banner. After being shot, Jennifer Walters receives a blood transfusion from Bruce who was the only viable donor. The transfusion had the unintended side effect of transforming her into the gamma-powered She-Hulk. However, unlike most incarnations of Bruce Banner’s Hulk, Jennifer Walters retains her sharp wit and emotional control in her She-Hulk form, which later becomes permanent.

Marvel Studios’ upcoming slate of films includes Black WidowThe EternalsShang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten RingsDoctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, and Thor: Love and Thunder. In addition to the aforementioned feature films, Marvel Studios is developing several shows for Disney Plus, including The Falcon and the Winter SoldierWandaVisionLokiWhat If…?HawkeyeMs. MarvelMoon Knight, and She-Hulk.

She-Hulk is currently slated for a 2022 release on Disney Plus. Stay tuned for all the latest news on Tatiana Maslany and She-Hulk and be sure to subscribe to Heroic Hollywood’s YouTube channel for more original content!
