Shortlist For Lead In ‘Han Solo’ Spin-Off Film Down To Final Actors

It looks like Disney & Lucasfilm might be close to finding their Han Solo for the upcoming spin-off film which will be directed by Phil Lord and Chris Miller (21 Jump Street). The Hollywood Reporter has revealed that the shorlist for the lead in the film hitting theaters in 2018 has come down to a few final actors which screen tested in London last week. The list includes Taron Egerton (Kingsman: The Secret Service), Jack Reynor (Transformers: Age Of Extinction) and Alden Ehrenreich (Hail, Caesar!). The outlet added that there might be more who tested for the role but being that it’s Star Wars, things are definitely being kept under wraps by tthe studio. UPDATE: Justin Kroll of Variety has additionally added two more names stating that Jack O’Connell (Unbroken) and Blake Jenner (Glee) are in the mix for the role as well.
