Simu Liu Teams Up With Awkwafina In New ‘Shang-Chi’ Image

A brand new image from Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings sees Simu Liu team up with Awkwafina and Meng’er Zhang.

Although many Marvel fans were already excited about seeing Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings come to theaters later this year, the anticipation only grew when the action-packed trailer for the film arrived last month. The arrival of a brand new hero in the Marvel Cinematic Universe is always exciting, but Shang-Chi looks to be something special. And a new image of the film has arrived online showing Simu Liu alongside co-stars Awkwafina and Meng’er Zhang.

The new Shang-Chi image arrived as part of Fandango’s Summer Preview, showcasing a handful of upcoming films making their way to theaters in the coming months. And with it came a shot of Simu Liu stood with both Awkafina and Meng’er Zhang stood at his side, with the trio looking rather concerned at whatever they’re faced with. It’s worth noting that Liu isn’t suited up in his impressively heroic outfit, but it’s not clear where the image takes place in the story. Take a look below.
