The acting sensation Sir Anthony Hopkins has finally hopped on Twitter. You’ll know Hopkins from one movie or another – he’s starred in movies such as Silence of the Lambs and Hannibal, not forgetting his role as Odin in the Thor franchise. His latest project is HBO’s new hit, Westworld.
On the scene to help Hopkins onto the social media platform was Transformers actor Mark Wahlberg. Understandably, he seems a little apprehensive and awkward about it – expressing his humourous reluctance to tweeting out news or nudes.
What was Sir Anthony’s first tweet? Find out below.
We’d encourage you to hop over onto Twitter and spread some positive vibes, you don’t want to mess with Hannibal Lecter, do you? It’s unlikely, but wouldn’t it be awesome if he decided to tweet about his involvement in Thor: Ragnarok? He’s been spotted on set, but after the events of Thor: The Dark World, we don’t know the extent of his return.
Ragnarok is said to have an unusual mix of tones and elements: apocalyptic and buddy-cop storylines combined. Mark Ruffalo’s inclusion as The Hulk probably ties into both.
You can see Sir Anthony Hopkins return at Odin in Marvel’s Thor: Ragnarok when it releases on November 3rd, 2017.
