‘Smallville’ Star Michael Rosenbaum Praises Jon Cryer’s Lex Luthor

Smallville star Michael Rosenbaum has gone to social media to support Jon Cryer’s performance as Lex Luthoron The CW’s Supergirl.

Michael Rosenbaum became known to comic book fans after giving an amazing performan as Lex Luthor in the hit show Smallville. Michael Rosenbaum has also appeared on many other projects and even made an appearance on James Gunn’s Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2. Now, the Smallville star has taken to Twitter to praise fellow comic book actor Jon Cryer after taking on the role of Lex Luthor. You can view Michael Rosenbaum’s message for Jon Cryer below.

Michael Rosenbaum became instantly popular after giving an amazing performance as Lex Luthor on Smallville, which lasted for ten seasons. Smallville was a hit and it spawned many other great DC Comics characters on television. Now after Smallville ended, fans saw comic book heroes return to their home screens thanks to the Arrowverse. Even though Michael Rosenbaum gave an amazing performance as Lex Luthor in Smallville, fans would would one day see another actor step into those shoes.

Supergirl’s most recent episode featured Jon Cryer’s first appearance as the Arrowverse’s Lex Luthor. His debut was met with praise, with many loving the performance Jon Cryer’s as the iconic Superman villain. Now, Michael Rosenbaum can be added to the list of people praising Jon Cryer for his work as Lex Luthor.

Jon Cryer has portrayed many iconic characters in the past both in both film and television. The actor also made an appearance on Superman IV: The Quest for Peace as Lenny Luthor. Now, the talented actor will be making the role of Lex Luthor his own on Supergirl as he is set to return for more episodes. Smallville star Michael Rosenbaum on the other hand has been involved with other DC projects, voicing other popular DC characters in animated projects.
