Many were caught off-guard from the realistic design of Sonic the Hedgehog. Although he was only shown in silhouette form, we see realistic texture to him that evokes a furry look. However, unlike with Pokémon: Detective Pikachu and the design on Pikachu coming off as visually-appealing for the most part to fans, the design on SEGA’s mascot for this live-action adaptation has been creeping many people out – and we haven’t even see the full design itself.
Well, a second poster may have been spotted at a movie theater. A Twitter user spotted what looks like a promotional standee for Sonic the Hedgehog that gives us another feel for the design of the character. If you thought you were unsettled by the first poster, wait until you get a load of this one:
Wow. As you can see, this standee shows Sonic’s POV of himself high up as peeks over the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco, CA. We only see his furry blue legs and his red sneakers this time around. You can say this is standee is… strange.
