Comcast Roasts Sophie Turner’s ‘Dark Phoenix’ With Hilarious Listing

Comcast is describing Sophie Turner’s Dark Phoenix as “an X-Men fan’s worst nightmare” on its on-demand channel.

Sophie Turner’s Dark Phoenix was one of most critically and commercially underperforming entries in 20th Century Fox’s X-Men series but Comcast’s latest comments drag the film down to a whole other level. The film’s listing on on Xfinity, Comcast’s on-demand channel, reveals the cable provider isn’t the biggest fan of the Sophie Turner starrer, just like most fans.

A tweet recently began to make its way online showing how Comcast is marketing Sophie Turner’s Dark Phoenix:

As hilarious as this Dark Phoenix listing is, it’s also an odd way to market a film that people have to pay to see, especially with such a big star like Sophie Turner at the forefront. That being said, there is quite some truth to the comments.

What are your thoughts on how Comcast is marketing Sophie Turner’s Dark Phoenix? Did you enjoy the film? Let us know in the comments section!

Written and directed by Simon Kinberg, Dark Phoenix stars James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, Jennifer Lawrence, Nicholas Hoult, Sophie Turner, Tye Sheridan, Alexandra Shipp, Kodi Smit-McPhee, Evan Peters, and Jessica Chastain. Here is the official synopsis:

This is the story of one of the X-Men’s most beloved characters, Jean Grey, as she evolves into the iconic DARK PHOENIX. During a life-threatening rescue mission in space, Jean is hit by a cosmic force that transforms her into one of the most powerful mutants of all. Wrestling with this increasingly unstable power as well as her own personal demons, Jean spirals out of control, tearing the X-Men family apart and threatening to destroy the very fabric of our planet. The film is the most intense and emotional X-Men movie ever made. It is the culmination of 20 years of X-Men movies, as the family of mutants that we’ve come to know and love must face their most devastating enemy yet — one of their own.

Stay tuned for the latest news on Sophie Turner’s Dark Phoenix and the future of the X-Men franchise at Marvel Studios!
