Sophie Turner Isn’t Interested In Returning To ‘Game Of Thrones’

Sophie Turner explained she doesn’t want to return to Game Of Thrones because it wouldn’t be the same experience as filming the original series.

When asked if she’d love to return to her role of Sansa Stark, Game of Thrones star Sophie Turner revealed that she wouldn’t want to because it wouldn’t be the same experience as she had working on the original series. Game of Thrones star Sophie Turner is best known for playing Sansa Stark in the HBO show, as well as starring as Jean Grey in Fox’s prequel X-Men series. But it seems like she’s ready to move onto new projects, rather than being stuck in the same role for years.

When asked by Variety at the Screen Actors Guild awards if she’d love to revisit the character of Sansa Stark, Sophie Turner explained that she’d love to go back and relive filming Game of Thrones, but because there would be different people running a follow-up series, she wouldn’t be interested. However, the actress jokingly mentioned that she’d have to receive a sizeable fee if they really wanted her. Take a look at Game of Thrones star Sophie Turner discussing why she doesn’t want to return to Westeros below.

“I would give anything to go back to what we had, but it wouldn’t be the same. It would be different, different people running it. I don’t want to be a part of it. Unless they give me the big bucks I’m not doing it!”
