Spider-Man: Far From Home Adds Transgender Actor Zach Barack In Supporting Role

Spider-Man: Far From Home to feature rising transgender actor Zach Barack in a supporting role, as reported by Variety. He can actually be seen in the recently released trailer.

There is no word at this time on who Barack is playing in the film, but he’s a welcome addition to an already awesome cast, including Tom Holland, Samuel L. Jackson, Zendaya, Cobie Smulders, and series newcomer Jake Gyllenhaal as the villain Mysterio.

It’s comforting to know that films like these are respecting modern day norms and not just stuffing streams of straight white people down our throats. In an age where this can be all too common, it’s good that Marvel Studios is making all the difference. In the meantime, we’ll keep you posted on any Spider-Man: Far From Home news as it comes in.
