During a recent interview with Empire Magazine, Marvel Studio President Kevin Feige confirmed that the footage was shot very early on in the process. According to Feige, the death was actually “filmed on the first or second day of what would be an almost two-year process”. If so, given Tom Holland’s tendency to talk too much, the fact that the death remained a sequel is kind of a miracle.
