Hilarious Post Shows Difference Between Spider-Man & Captain Marvel

According to a recent post, there’s one key difference between Captain Marvel (Brie Larson) and Spider-Man (Tom Holland).

Fans have learned quite a bit about Captain Marvel over the course of the final few months in 2018. That being said, there is still a lot of mystery surrounding the ’90s-set Marvel Cinematic Universe origin story. When the first trailer for the film dropped, one moment that had some fans very confused was a moment in which Carol Danvers punches an elderly woman in the face.

The second trailer revealed the elderly woman to be a Skrull in disguise but that doesn’t make the misunderstanding any less humorous. A recent Reddit post used this exact moment to point out the difference between Captain Marvel and Spider-Man. Check out the hilarious image in the post below.

This wonderful post uses an image from Spider-Man: Homecoming, in which the titular friendly neighborhood hero helps a New York citizen, to point out the difference between the web-slinger’s tactics with other humans and Captain Marvel’s. Of course, the image is all in good fun and fans know that Captain Marvel won’t be assaulting kind members of society for no reason when her upcoming solo movie hits theaters in March.

We’ll be sure to keep you updated on all news regarding Captain Marvel as soon as more information becomes available. Do you prefer Spider-Man to Captain Marvel? How would you like to see their first interaction play out during Avengers: Endgame? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below!

The story follows Carol Danvers as she becomes one of the universe’s most powerful heroes when Earth is caught in the middle of a galactic war between two alien races. Set in the 1990s, “Captain Marvel” is an all-new adventure from a previously unseen period in the history of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Directed by Anna Boden & Ryan Fleck, Captain Marvel stars Brie Larson, Samuel L. Jackson, Ben Mendelsohn, Djimon Hounsou, Lee Pace, Lashana Lynch, Gemma Chan, Algenis Perez Soto, Rune Temte, McKenna Grace, Clark Gregg, and Jude Law.

Captain Marvel will be released in theaters on March 8, 2019.
