‘Spider-Man: Far From Home’ Director Says A Venom Crossover Could Work

While Venom joining the Marvel Cinematic Universe remains in question, the director of Spider-Man: Far From Home thinks that a crossover could work.

While speaking to Comicbookmovie.com, Spider-Man: Far From Home director Jon Watts addressed the possibility of a Venom crossover. While he didn’t confirm that a Venom crossover was happening, the Spider-Man director seemed very enthusiastic about the idea. According to Watts, he found Venom to be funny and doesn’t seem to think the franchises are all that different. He then went on to say that if you put Tom Holland and Tom Hardy together in Venom/Spider-Man film you would end up with something special:

I found Venom to be so funny and I thought Tom Hardy was so great, I don’t know that they are so different. I think you put those two Toms together and you’re going to see something pretty special.
