Sony Reveals Official Plot Synopsis For ‘Spider-Man: Far From Home’

Yes, yes, Spider-Man will be going abroad in Far From Home, but why? What’s he doing? And how do Quentin Beck and Nick Fury tie into this? Well, many can speculate the plot, but Sony Pictures today, on the heels of the first trailer, have revealed the official plot synopsis for the Homecoming sequel.

In addition to the poster and teaser trailer, Sony has released an official rundown for what crazy, international shenanigans Peter will get into in the Spider-Man sequel. Here, have a read:

“Peter Parker returns in Spider-Man: Far From Home, the next chapter of the Spider-Man: Homecoming series! Our friendly neighborhood Super Hero decides to join his best friends Ned, MJ, and the rest of the gang on a European vacation. However, Peter’s plan to leave super heroics behind for a few weeks are quickly scrapped when he begrudgingly agrees to help Nick Fury uncover the mystery of several elemental creature attacks, creating havoc across the continent!”

So there you have it. While we knew that the likes of Mysterio, Maria Hill, and Nick Fury would be a part of Peter’s life in Far From Home, Sony’s official synopsis provides some clarification as to what will go down when Peter Parker swings back into everyone’s lives this summer. That said, what do you make of the official Far From Home synopsis? Do you hope more information is revealed as we approach the film’s release date? And how much, if at all, do you think the events of this film could be impacted by what happens in Avengers: Endgame? Let us know your thoughts on this in the comments below.
