‘Spider-Man: Far From Home’ To Be Re-Released Labor Day Weekend With Extended Cut

Spider-Man: Far From Home is swinging back in theaters over Labor Day weekend with an extended cut of Sony’s most successful film of all-time.

Over the weekend, Spider-Man: Far From Home added more to its box office total with the film now at $1.109 billion worldwide. Spider-Man: Far From Home is also the highest-grossing film in Sony Pictures’ 95-year history. To celebrate, the studio is re-releasing Spider-Man: Far From Home in theaters with an extended cut of the film. The extended cut with feature four minutes of additional footage, which includes a never-before-seen action sequence. The screenings will begin Thursday, August 29 through the holiday weekend in the US and Canada.

Following the events of Avengers: Endgame, Spider-Man must step up to take on new threats in a world that has changed forever.

Directed by Jon Watts from a script written by Chris McKenna and Erik Sommers, the film stars Tom Holland, Jake Gyllenhaal, Zendaya, Jacob Batalon, Tony Revolori, Martin Starr, Numan Acar, J.B. Smoove, Oli Hill, Remy Hii, Marisa Tomei, Michael Keaton, Jon Favreau, Cobie Smulders, and Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury.
