‘Spider-Man: Far From Home’ Trailer Date Has Reportedly Been Pushed

The release date for the Spider-Man: Far From Home trailer has possibly been pushed back by almost two weeks.

It was reported earlier this week that Sony’s next installment in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, titled Spider-Man: Far From Home, would finally drop its first trailer today, December 8th. The sequel to Spider-Man: Homecoming is expected to pick up just after the events of Avengers: Endgame, which just dropped its first trailer yesterday.

Because of this, fans have been speculating how Sony would market the film without revealing too much about Spider-Man’s (Tom Holland) role in Avengers: Endgame. Well, it seems like fans will have to wait just a tad bit longer to find out. A new report claims that the Far From Home trailer date has been pushed back and will possibly release on December 18th, just a few days after the release of Spider-Man: into the Spider-Verse. Check out the Tweet below to see the full report.

If this new report is true, then that would make this December even more superhero-centric. Not only would the trailer be dropping alongside the opening weekend of both Spider-ManInto the Spider-Verse and Once Upon a Deadpool, it would be debuting the same week that DC’s Aquaman and Paramount’s Bumblebee premiere in U.S. theaters.

We’ll be sure to keep you updated on all news regarding Spider-Man: Far From Home as soon as more information becomes available. What are you hoping to see in the trailer? How do you think Peter Parker will return to the MCU after the events of Avengers: Infinity War? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below!

Directed by Jon Watts, Spider-Man: Far From Home stars Tom Holland, Jake Gyllenhaal, Zendaya, Jacob Batalon, Tony Revolori, Martin Starr, Numan Acar, J.B. Smoove, Oli Hill, Remy Hii, Marisa Tomei, Michael Keaton, Cobie Smulders, and Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury.

Spider-Man: Far From Home will be released in theaters on July 5, 2019.
