The first four minutes of Spider-Man: Homecoming, which explains what Spider-Man was up to before and after the big airport fight, are now online.
The clip was released through the PlayStation Store and has now made its way online. You can check it out below.
While some fans have complained that Sony has given too much of their Marvel Studios-produced movie away, it’s worth keeping in mind that the prologue set around the time of Captain America: Civil War has been shown since the teaser clip for the first trailer dropped. Also worth mentioning is that it’s not uncommon for studios to unveil a few minutes of their movie as an extended preview before it comes out, which is something that they did with The Amazing Spider-Man 2 (with a whopping 10-minute preview).
Spider-Man: Homecoming swings into theaters on July 7, 2017. The film features a cast that includes Tom Holland as Peter Parker (Spider-Man), Robert Downey Junior as Tony Stark (Iron Man), Zendaya Coleman as Michelle, Jacob Batalon as Ned Leeds, Tony Revolori as “Flash” Thompson, Laura Harrier as Liz Allan, Marisa Tomei as May Parker, Jon Favreau as Harold “Happy” Hogan, Michael Keaton as Adrian Toomes (Vulture), Bokeem Woodbine as Herman Schultz (Shocker), and Michael Chernus as Phineas Mason (Tinkerer).
