Before Sunday's MTV Movie & TV Awards, a special episode of 'Lip Sync Battle' featuring 'Spider-Man: Homecoming's Tom Holland and Zendaya Coleman will air.
To tease the special event, the official Lip Sync Battle Twitter account shared a clip of Coleman jamming to Bruno Mars’ “24k Magic” while Holland and host LL Cool J get into the groove. You can watch the video through the tweet below.
Coleman and Holland aren’t the first Marvel Cinematic Universe stars (or future stars) to lip sync their way through a battle however. Previously, Anthony Mackie, Zoe Saldana, Lupita Nyong’o, Hayley Atwell, and Clark Gregg duked it out on stage. In particular, Atwell and Gregg had one heck of a battle to settle their already previously started online lip sync feud, and you haven’t truly lived until you’ve seen Clark Gregg shake it to Britney Spears’ “Toxic.”
A young Peter Parker/Spider-Man (Tom Holland), who made his sensational debut in Captain America: Civil War, begins to navigate his newfound identity as the web-slinging super hero in Spider-Man: Homecoming. Thrilled by his experience with the Avengers, Peter returns home, where he lives with his Aunt May (Marisa Tomei), under the watchful eye of his new mentor Tony Stark (Robert Downey, Jr.). Peter tries to fall back into his normal daily routine – distracted by thoughts of proving himself to be more than just your friendly neighborhood Spider-Man – but when the Vulture (Michael Keaton) emerges as a new villain, everything that Peter holds most important will be threatened.
Spider-Man: Homecoming swings into theaters on July 7, 2017. The film features a cast that includes Tom Holland as Peter Parker (Spider-Man), Robert Downey Junior as Tony Stark (Iron Man), Zendaya Coleman as Michelle, Jacob Batalon as Ned Leeds, Tony Revolori as “Flash” Thompson, Laura Harrier as Liz Allan, Marisa Tomei as May Parker, Jon Favreau as Harold “Happy” Hogan, Michael Keaton as Adrian Toomes (Vulture), Bokeem Woodbine as Herman Schultz (Shocker), and Michael Chernus as Phineas Mason (Tinkerer). A sequel is planned for release on July 5, 2019.
