‘Spider-Man: Far From Home’ Easter Egg Points At First Appearance Of Hydro Man

Unless you’ve been living under a rock, then you probably saw or at least heard about the first trailer for Spider-Man: Far From Home, which dropped online today. Inevitably, eager fans have spent the day souring each frame for potential Easter Eggs or hints to as what will happen in the movie.

In the trailer, we see a giant, humanoid made of water, which many have been speculating is none other than the Hydro Man. It is a theory that has been floating around the web since Tom Holland posted a short video of his stunt man, dressed as Spider-Man, getting blasted by some water. Well, now it looks like that theory may actually hold some water (pun intended), thanks to a new East Egg spotted in the trailer.

According to Dorkly’s own Tristian Cooper on Twitter, there is a reference in the trailer to the very first appearance of Hydro Man, the marquee Spider-Man villain, in the comics. Earlier today, Cooper tweeted some of the Easter Eggs he caught:

What do you think? Will Spider-Man: Far From Home mark the live-action debut of Hydro Man? Let us know your thoughts and theories in the comments below!
