It’s been a big week for Marvel Studios with the release of Avengers: Endgame tonight and the story doesn’t actually end there for our favorite web-slinger. Spider-Man may have been dusted away in Avengers: Infinity War, but there is still an upcoming sequel in which Spider-Man will be facing off against Jake Gyllenhaal as Mysterio. Now, it seems that Marvel Studios has big plans for Mysterio’s backstory after a fan on Twitter noticed something interesting on a new image or Jake Gyllenhaal as Mysterio. You can view the image below.
It appears that Jake Gyllenhaal’s Mysterio is married during the events of Spider-Man: Far From Home. Mysterio has appeared in comic books as a brilliant special effects creator that used his abilities to create illusions and becomes a super-villain antagonist for Spider-Man. Doing so Mysterio hoped to gain popularity, but the talented illusionist simply became a villain for our favorite wall-crawler. Now, fans will be able to see the special effects wizard come face to face with Spider-Man after crashing his eurotrip.
