Chris Miller Teases New ‘Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse’ Trailer Coming Soon

Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse executive producer Chris Miller has taken to Twitter to tease that a brand new trailer for the film is coming soon.

The new film which follows Mile Morales as he learns to become Spider-Man under the guidance of an older Peter Parker hits theaters this Holiday season. The film has been directed by Bob Persichetti, Peter Ramsey, and Rodney Rothman from a script written by Phil Lord and Miller. Miller himself tweeted out a tease earlier this afternoon for a new trailer. The film’s New York Comic-Con panel is set for this Saturday, October 6 at 11:30 am ET at The Hulu Theater at Madison Square Garden.

The film has been produced by Marvel Animation, Sony Pictures Animation, and Columbia Pictures with Lord and Miller also executive producing the project along with Avi Arad and Amy Pascal. Christina Steinberg served as producer as well.

Miles Morales was originally created by American comic book writer Brian Michael Bendis along with artist Sara Pichelle. Bendis and Marvel editor-in-chief Axel Alonso drew inspiration for the character from both U.S. President Barack Obama and American actor Donald Glover aka Childish Gambino.

Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse stars Shameik Moore, Liev Schreiber, Mahershala Ali, Brian Tyree, Luna Lauren Velez, Lily Tomlin, with Hailee Steinfeld, Jake Johnson, and Nic Cage.

Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse swings into theaters December 14, 2018.
