‘Spider-Man: Homecoming’ Gets A New Poster; New York City Backdrop…

'Spider-Man: Homecoming' Gets A New Poster, New York City Backdrop Includes Avengers Tower. The film will be in theaters this July.

Spider-Man: Homecoming has a new poster, which was shared on Twitter by Matt Ferguson. This new poster will be available at select ODEON theaters in the United Kingdom.

Unlike the last poster for the film, which had a lot going on and received a ton of negative criticism, this new poster is simpler, and the New York City skyline plays a big role. Spider-man is front and center, swinging from building to building. Iron Man is in the background, a smaller figure, taking to the air in support of wherever Spider-Man is headed. If you look at the skyline, you can see the Avengers tower as well.

You can check out the full poster below!

A young Peter Parker/Spider-Man (Tom Holland), who made his sensational debut in Captain America: Civil War, begins to navigate his newfound identity as the web-slinging super hero in Spider-Man: Homecoming. Thrilled by his experience with the Avengers, Peter returns home, where he lives with his Aunt May (Marisa Tomei), under the watchful eye of his new mentor Tony Stark (Robert Downey, Jr.). Peter tries to fall back into his normal daily routine – distracted by thoughts of proving himself to be more than just your friendly neighborhood Spider-Man – but when the Vulture (Michael Keaton) emerges as a new villain, everything that Peter holds most important will be threatened.

Directed by Jon Watts, the film stars Tom Holland, Michael Keaton, Zendaya, Donald Glover, Jacob Batalon, Laura Harrier, Tony Revolori, Tyne Daly, Bokeem Woodbine, Michael Chernus, Kenneth Choi, Hannibal Buress, Martin Starr, Michael Barbieri, Angourie Rice, Abraham Attah, Marisa Tomei and Robert Downey Jr.

Spider-Man: Homecoming will be released in theaters on July 7, 2017.
