To celebrate the release of Sony’s Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, Insomniac Games announced that Peter Parker’s costume from the film will be available with Marvel’s Spider-Man: Silver Lining. When a Twitter user expressed that he believes Mile Morale’s costume should have been included with the upcoming DLC, Insomniac Games questioned why Peter Parker would wear Miles’ suit. Their response prompted another fan to note that the game includes two 2099 and Scarlet Spider suits, Insomniac Games explained that the characters who traditionally wear those costumes don’t have powers in their universe and that Peter Parker builds a lot of designs.
The Silver Lining DLC will be available on December 21, 2018.
