The footage is an extension of Spidey’s “Hey everyone,” scene from the second theatrical trailer. This time Tony Stark tells a starstruck Spider-Man, “Yeah, we don’t really need to start a conversation,” before Peter continues to admire one of his idols Captain America. “Oh, Captain, big fan!”
I have to say, Tom Holland’s line deliveries are hitting all of the right notes and he has Spider-Man’s boyish charm and energy down pat. His iteration of everyone’s favorite wall-crawler is the best of both worlds – the defining attributes of Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield.
Political pressure mounts to install a system of accountability when the actions of the Avengers lead to collateral damage. The new status quo deeply divides members of the team. Captain America (Chris Evans) believes superheroes should remain free to defend humanity without government interference. Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.) sharply disagrees and supports oversight. As the debate escalates into an all-out feud, Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson) and Hawkeye (Jeremy Renner) must pick a side.
Captain America: Civil War hits theaters May 6, 2016, directed by Joe and Anthony Russo, written by Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely, starring Chris Evans (Captain America), Robert Downey Jr. (Iron Man), Sebastian Stan (Bucky Barnes/Winter Soldier), Scarlett Johansson (Black Widow), Paul Rudd (Ant-Man), Jeremy Renner (Hawkeye), Anthony Mackie (Falcon), Don Cheadle (War Machine), Chadwick Boseman (Black Panther), Tom Holland (Spider-Man), Paul Bettany (Vision), Elizabeth Olsen (Scarlet Witch), Daniel Bruhl (Baron Zemo), William Hurt (Gen.
