Spider-Man Fan Art Imagines The Hero With A Shuri-Inspired Costume

Your friendly Wakandan Spider-Man is here thanks to an awesome new piece of Marvel fan art.

The fantastic technology of the Marvel Cinematic Universe grants fans the chance to see some pretty incredible, unique costumes worn by the iconic heroes. Even if they don’t appear on screen, fans have taken the icons of the MCU to create impressive fan art over the years. One new piece of fan art, in particular, takes Spider-Man and gives him a sleek new suit designed by Shuri, who was one of many breakout characters from this year’s Black Panther. 

The Wakandan Spidey suit comes from artist Jason Pastrana’s Instagram post, which offers two slightly different variations of the costume. Pastrana’s Instagram features plenty of unique designs for some of  Marvel’s heroes and this suit in particular looks similar to the Iron Spider suit featured in Avengers: Infinity War but with a great Wakandan twist. Spidey has an array of costumes that he’s worn over the years, whether you’re talking about the comics or the movies. Even with all of the wall-crawling hero’s unique suits, this new Wakandan armor offers a new take on Spider-Man that looks like he walked right off of the comic book page. Hopefully, the art will be enough to tide fans over until Tom Holland’s Spidey returns to the MCU in both Avengers 4 and Spider-Man: Far From Home next summer.
