‘Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse’ Director Reveals Cut Stan Lee Lines

Rodney Rothman, one of Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse‘s three directors, has revealed some of Stan Lee’s cut lines from the film.

Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse may not have made as much money at the box office as Aquaman did that same month but it didn’t go forgotten upon release. Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse quickly won over fans with its witty humor, heart, and stylish animation when it hit theaters last year and eventually went on to earn Rodney Rothman and his fellow directors both the Golden Globe and Academy Award for Best Animated Feature of the year.

Rodney Rothman, who directed Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Man with Bob Persichetti and Peter Ramsey, recently took to Twitter to show fans some of Stan Lee’s lines that didn’t make the final cut. As he has with most Marvel movies, Stan Lee had a very beloved cameo in Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse, which hit theaters about a month after the comic book legend’s death.

Check out some of the Stan Lee lines that didn’t make the final cut in the post below.

Although there are follow-ups to Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse on the way, the next big screen outing for the witty web-slinger is Spider-Man: Far From Home. Starring Tom Holland in the titular role, the film is the final Marvel Cinematic Universe film scheduled to hit theaters this year. Far From Home hits theaters in July, only a few months after the highly-anticipated Avengers: Endgame premieres.

We’ll be sure to keep you updated on all news regarding Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse as soon as more information becomes available.
