Possible Spoilers Ahead…..
If there’s one thing we know Game of Thrones fans dislike, it’s spoilers. If you’re a fan and agree with that statement then stop reading right here. Everyone else, you’ve been warned.
Production on Season 7 of the epic HBO series is underway in Belfast and certain actors are beginning to pop up. Among them is Iain Glen, better known as Ser Jorah Mormont or Jorah The Andal who was last seen in the Season 6 episode The Door, having been ordered by Emilia Clarke’s Daenarys to find a cure for his grayscale. Here’s the proof.
It’s one thing to have someone’s word of an actors presence, it was previously reported Glen had been spotted on a plane to Belfast along with Gwendoline Christie aka Brienne of Tarth, but a photo is another entirely. So what does this mean for Daenarys’ ever-faithful companion? As someone who is slightly behind on the series, I will leave that to the more educated fans to decide. With the series forging its own course full steam ahead having caught up with George R.R. Martin’s A Song of Ice and Fire book series, anything is possible.
In addition to Glen, another actor was spotted nearby: Joe Dempsie. Fans will remember Dempsie as Gendry the bastard blacksmith son of the late Robert Baratheon who was last seen in Season 3 being instructed by Davos to leave Dragonstone and avoid a possibly horrifying fate. One that Stannis’ daughter could not sadly. The photo showed a candid looking Dempsie arriving at the airport looking a little rugged, suggesting his presence is meant to be more of a surprise than Glen’s. With Season 6 bringing back previously absent characters such as Bran Stark, it would make sense to continue a pattern. Again, we can only speculate at this point, but that’s what makes Game of Thrones so exciting right?
Game of Thrones Season 7 premieres in Summer 2017.
