Stanley Tucci Confirmed For ‘Transformers: The Last Knight’

Stanley Tucci is simply one of our finest character actors in the business today. He has had the privilege of starring in films such as Captain America: The First Avenger, The Hunger Games series, Spotlight, and The Lovely Bones (which earned him a Best Supporting Actor nomination at the Academy Awards).

Tucci was also featured in Michael Bay’s Transformers: Age of Extinction as Joshua Joyce – the head of KSI who wanted to design his own Transformers. Regardless of how many may feel about Age of Extinction, Tucci was still on his A-game, which is indicative of how he never phones in a performance and always adds quality to whatever film he is in.

Well, it looks like we will be seeing Joshua Joyce once again. While he was at Deauville to receive a career tribute over the weekend, Tucci confirmed that he will be reprising his role in the fifth entry of the franchise, Transformers: The Last Knight. The context of his role is currently unknown, but it is now official that Tucci is reuniting with director Michael Bay and actor Mark Wahlberg in the upcoming sequel.

How do you guys think Joshua Joyce will factor into the film’s story? What are you most excited about with Transformers: The Last Knight? Sound off in the comments below.

Transformers: The Last Knight arrives in theaters on June 23, 2017.
