The Star Wars sequel trilogy has partly centered on the conflicted Kylo Ren, the identity adopted by Adam Driver’s Ben Solo after turning to the Dark Side and joining the First Order. In the final chapter of the Star Wars saga, subtitled The Rise of Skywalker, Adam Driver’s Ben Solo found redemption after turning on Emperor Palpatine and sacrificing his life to save Rey.
Fans of Ben Solo have started a GoFundMe campaign inspired by the redeemed Star Wars character, with all proceeds from the fundraiser going to Adam Driver’s nonprofit organization, Arts in the Armed Forces. Upon learning of the GoFundMe campaign, Adam Driver shared a new video in which the Star Wars actor expressed his gratitude towards the fans for supporting a cause he cares about so much.
