‘Star Wars Adventures: Forces Of Destiny’ Comic Showcases Heroines

IDW Comics will be releasing 'Star Wars Adventures: Forces of Destiny', which will highlight the heroines of the iconic galaxy.

Fans of the Star Wars strong female characters have a new comic series to look forward to. IDW Comics will be releasing a brand new comic series, Star Wars Adventures: Forces of Destiny. 

Similar to the animated web shorts of the same title, Star Wars Adventures: Forces of Destiny will shine the spotlight on the heroines of the galaxy. Characters such as Leia, Rey, Padme, Ahsoka Tano and more.

IDW Senior Editor Denton J. Tipton released a statement:

“The Forces of Destiny initiative has won over fans with its inspiring tales about these iconic heroes. IDW Publishing couldn’t be more excited to be part of the celebration of these beloved characters.”

Star Wars Adventures: Forces of Destiny will be released on a weekly basis through IDW Comics starting January 2018.

Written and directed by Rian JohnsonEpisode VIII stars Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher, Adam Driver, Daisy Ridley, John Boyega, Oscar Isaac, Lupita Nyong’o, Domhnall Gleeson, Anthony Daniels, Gwendoline Christie, Andy Serkis, Benicio del Toro, Laura Dern and Kelly Marie Tran.
