After the first episode of The Mandalorian concluded with the introduction of the infant creature fans have named “Baby Yoda,” the young child instantly endeared themselves towards Star Wars fans. However, Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker has introduced a new character the franchise named Babu Frik and some fans are already turning on Baby Yoda in favor of the newcomer.
Star Wars fans have taken to social media to express their fondness for Babu Frink and many have even gone as far as lambasting Baby Yoda in the process. Of course, not everyone is turning on Baby Yoda, with a least one Star Wars fan noting that they would love to see Babu Frik and Baby Yoda cross paths in the second season of The Mandalorian.
