Vanity Fair’s stunning Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker covers put the spotlight on Daisy Ridley’s Rey and Adam Driver’s Kylo Ren.

The two covers for Vanity Fair’s Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker issue were finally revealed this morning, giving fans a new a look at Daisy Ridley’s Rey and Adam Driver’s Kylo Ren. The two characters appear to be on the same desert planet fans saw at the beginning of the film’s teaser trailer, which made its debut last month at Star Wars Celebration.

Directed by J. J. Abrams, Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker stars Daisy Ridley, Adam Driver, John Boyega, Oscar Isaac, Lupita Nyong’o, Domhnall Gleeson, Kelly Marie Tran, Joonas Suotamo, Billie Lourd, Naomi Ackie, Richard E. Grant, Keri Russell, Mark Hamill, Anthony Daniels, Ian McDiarmid and Billy Dee Williams. Carrie Fisher will appear as General Leia Organa through the use of previously unreleased footage shot for Star Wars: The Force Awakens.

Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker opens on December 19, 2019.
