‘Star Wars: Episode IX’ Production Designer Wraps Work On Film

The sequel trilogy of the beloved Star Wars saga has definitely been the talk of controversy for many fans, particularly with the 2017 film The Last Jedi, which currently has a 45% from fans on review aggregator website Rotten Tomatoes. Many fans did not appreciate the direction that the story took and how Mark Hamill’s character Luke Skywalker was handled in the film by writer/director Rian Johnson, with some uncertain about Episode IX, which is currently in production.

Perhaps fans of the series that were turned off by The Last Jedi will want to take a journey to a galaxy far, far away once more with the forthcoming Episode IX. Jake Lunt Davies, a production designer who has worked on the previous entries in the sequel trilogy, has posted a photo on Instagram, announcing he has wrapped on the new film. The photo showcases the many creatures that Davies has created in the universe thus far.

Star Wars: Episode IX will be released in theatres on December 20, 2019, by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures.
