During the Episode IX panel at Star Wars Celebration Chicago, fans were given their first look at Naomi Ackie’s character and the returning cast members in The Rise of Skywalker.
Lucasfilm’s Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker will conclude the main saga in the space franchise and the returning favorites will be joined by some newcomers for their final adventure. Among the newest additions to the cast is Naomi Ackie, who revealed she will play Jannah and would not confirm or deny that her character is the daughter of Lando Calrissian:
“Lando is a very charming man, so he could have children all over the universe, that’s all I’m saying.”
The panel also unveiled new aliens and a robot friend for BB-8. Fans were also given a new look at Finn, Rey, Poe, Chewbacca and Rose Tico in their respective new outfits.
