‘Star Wars’: Natalie Portman Shuts Down Rumor She Will Appear In ‘Episode IX’

During an interview with AM2DM, Natalie Portman debunked rumors that she will make an appearance in Star Wars: Episode IX.

The third chapter of the Star Wars sequel trilogy is set to conclude the Skywalker saga and rumors have been circulating that suggest Natalie Portman will reprise her role as Padmé Amidala, the mother of Luke and Leia Skywalker who represented the planet Naboo as Queen and Senator during the final years of the Galactic Republic. However, Natalie Portman debunked those rumors when directly asked about Padmé Amidala’s potential return:

“I don’t know anthing about that, so… I’m guessing that’s not true because I don’t know about it yet.”
