Taking to his Twitter yesterday morning, Jimmy Vee tweeted out an image of both R2-D2 and C-3PO on the set of the Star Wars film, along with the caption: “It’s been a pleasure working with you. .#anthonydaniels #c3p0 .. #starwars.” Here, check out the R2-D2 actor announcing his wrap on Episode IX in the tweet below:
Since the Super Bowl has come and gone without so much as a tease for the upcoming film, there’s still plenty of speculation out there on the interwebs as to when Lucasfilm or Disney will give fans their first look at the next Star Wars film. Given how this will be the final installment in the Skywalker Saga, combined with fan division within the franchise between Solo and The Last Jedi, expectations will no doubt be high among some.
Still, though, who do you think will be the next actor to wrap filming on Episode IX? What are your expectations for the next film, if at all? Are you excited to see the next entry into the Star Wars series? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below.

The film will blast its way into a movie theater near you on December 20, 2019.
