Despite rumors claiming otherwise, the outlet hears Disney will not release a Star Wars: Episode IX preview during the Super Bowl despite having debuted the first teaser for Solo: A Star Wars Story during the big game last year. This year’s line-up of Disney films includes Captain Marvel, Avengers: Endgame, Dumbo, Aladdin and Toy Story 4 and while the studio will not confirm, the company has previously used the Super Bowl to unveil previews for Marvel and Disney Studios projects.
Universal will release a preview for Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw while Sony and Warner Bros. will reportedly sit out of the event despite rumors claiming a new Shazam! preview could debut. There is no word on whether Fox will be present at the Super Bowl this year.
