Remember Billie Lourd’s brief appearance as Lieutenant Connix in J.J. Abrams’ Star Wars: The Force Awakens? Well, most of you probably don’t, but it sounds like the actress will be back in Rian Johnson’s Star Wars: Episode VIII, which is currently shooting in Dubrovnik, Croatia.
In a recent interview with Slashfilm at Paleyfest, Lourd revealed that she’ll reprise her role in the next installment of the franchise, but this time around, she’ll have more than 2 seconds of screen time. While the actress couldn’t reveal any details about her role, it’s safe to say that her scenes will involve Carrie Fisher’s General Leia.
