Lucasfilm has released the fourth episode of the new 2-D animated female-led series of shorts Star Wars Forces of Destiny.

Star Wars Forces of Destiny is a total of eight shorts which highlight the female heroes of the Star Wars galaxy as the series explores everyday heroism and crosses over with the films of the franchise. The series features mini adventures with heroines such as Rey, Jyn Erso, Ahsoka Tano, Hera Syndulla, Sabine Wren, Padme Amidala, Maz Kanata and Princess Leia.

The third episode titled “The Padawan Path” takes us all the way back to the prequel era as it features a young Ahsoka Tano (Ashley Eckstein) in a race against the clock as she rushes through the streets of Coruscant to make it in time for a Jedi Ceremony with Yoda (Tom Kane) and Anakin Skywalker (Matt Lanter) but first, she has to stop a malfunctioning droid from harming a mother and her child. You can watch the episode below.

Star Wars Forces of Destiny features the voice cast of Daisy Ridley as Rey, Felicity Jones as Jyn Erso, Tiya Sircar as Sabine Wren, Ashley Eckstein as Ahsoka Tano, Vanessa Marshall as Hera Syndulla, Lupita Nyong’o as Maz Kanata and Shelby Young as Princess Leia. Catherine Taber will also be taking over for Natalie Portman as the voice of Padmé Amidala.

In addition to being released on Disney’s Youtube channel, the series is also set to premiere on the Disney Channel July 9 and will later be joined by an additional eight shorts in a pair of TV specials airing on the Disney Channel in the fall.
