Chris Miller — who’s directing the Star Wars project alongside Phil Lord — took to Twitter this morning to announce that the film has officially launched principal photography with the following tweet.
While the tweet doesn’t reveal the name of the movie, it does show off its incredibly clever working title: Red Cup. Fans shouldn’t expect an official title anytime soon (after all, it’s only been a week since the Star Wars: Episode VIII title reveal), but there’s definitely a chance that it could be unveiled at Star Wars Celebration Orlando this April.
Ehrenreich stars as the iconic space smuggler, but the cast also includes Donald Glover as Lando Calrissian and Woody Harrelson as Han’s mentor. Game of Thrones actress Emilia Clarke is also on board, but details about her Star Wars role are being kept under wraps.
The untitled Han Solo movie is currently set to hit theaters on May 25 of next year, but rumor has it that the project will be pushed back to December 2018. Are you excited?
