John Boyega also celebrated the end of principal photography by sharing the same photo of him and his co-stars together as he reflects on the entire journey that began with Abrams offering him the opportunity of a lifetime as one of the lead heroes in the sequel trilogy that will conclude the entire Skywalker Saga that began in 1977. But what caught the attention of fans was his comments regarding something imminent is on the way:
To add more fuel to the fire, the official Twitter for Star Wars UK tweeted this exciting mash-up clip of both Anakin Skywalker (Hayden Christensen) and Han Solo (Harrison Ford) piloting their respective vehicles. The tweet included the alarming caption, “The calm before the galactic storm…”
Based on what John Boyega is teasing for fans, he is likely preparing the Star Wars community for some exciting news that’s on the way. With principal photography officially wrapped and a good 10 months from the final chapter of the Skywalker Saga hitting theaters, it is likely that John Boyega may be preparing us for the reveal of the film’s official title. It is also worth noting that for every single Star Wars Celebration since 2015, John Boyega has made an appearance whether it was to promote his roles in The Force Awakens and The Last Jedi or to surprise fans with his presence. It seems like a guarantee that he will be making his return to Star Wars Celebration Chicago this April alongside his fellow Episode IX cast and crew.
What do you make of all this Star Wars teasing from John Boyega? Do you think we will have an official title for Episode IX before April? Sound off in the comments below, and be sure to continue following Heroic Hollywood for all the latest news on Star Wars: Episode IX.
