The Knights of Ren have barely been seen in the new Star Wars trilogy. Introduced in Star Wars: The Force Awakens, the Knights of Ren were followers of the dark side of the Force, under the leadership of Snoke and Kylo Ren. While the Knights of Ren did not appear in Star Wars: The Last Jedi, they are set to return in The Rise of Skywalker.
Reddit user MimbanMudgang posted a photo revealing the head of a new LEGO figure which appears to be the helmet of one of the Knights of Ren. Check it out!
Fans have theorized, and The Last Jedi may have teased, the Knights of Ren as former Jedi students of Luke Skywalker. These former students would ban together with Kylo Ren to eradicate the rest of the Jedi and then follow Snoke to the Dark Side. None of the official films have confirmed this, but it’s been heavily hinted at.
The Knights of Ren will have a role in The Rise of Skywalker. Earlier in March, photos were released featuring several different Knights of Ren on the set of the upcoming Star Wars film. Each of them appears to be draped in dark clothing and some kind of masked helmet, but they don’t all appear to have the same design. Here’s a look at the photo, where the comparison of the Lego figure has been cropped from:
What do you think of the LEGO Knights of Ren head? Could it hint at them having even more involvement in the new movie? Are you looking forward to learning more about the Knights of Ren? Let us know your thoughts down in the comments!
