‘Star Wars: The Last Jedi’ Director Confirms Change In Kylo Ren’s Scar

Star Wars: The Last Jedi director has confirmed that he changed Kylo Ren's scar in the upcoming eighth chapter of the Skywalker saga.

Star Wars: The Last Jedi director Rian Johnson has confirmed that he changed Kylo Ren’s scar in the upcoming eighth chapter of the Skywalker saga.

When the first image, as well as the teaser trailer, revealed Adam Driver back as the son of Han Solo and Princess Leia in the new film, fans were left scratching their heads as they instantly noticed Kylo’s scar in Episode VIII did not match the wound left by Rey after she sliced open his face with the Skywalker lightsaber.

When asked on Twitter, Johnson explained that he changed the placement of the scar itself because he felt it looked goofy.

So what do you think? Does the change in Kylo’s scar bother you? Or do you agree with Johnson’s reason for changing the placement of it? Let us know in the comments below.

The film stars Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher, Daisy Ridley, John Boyega, Adam Driver, Oscar Isaac, Domhnall Gleeson, Gwendoline Christie, Benicio del Toro, Laura Dern, Kelly Marie Tran and Andy Serkis.

Star Wars: The Last Jedi hits theaters December 15, 2017.
