Ahead of tonight's trailer, Lucasfilm has released a new poster for the upcoming eighth installment of the Skywalker Saga, Star Wars: The Last Jedi.
While plot details are still under wraps, The Last Jedi will pick up directly where The Force Awakens left off. The film is set to dig deeper into the new characters introduced in Episode VII as it explores Kylo Ren’s humanity as well as how Rey deals with the discovery of the force inside her. Directed by Rian Johnson, the film stars Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher, Daisy Ridley, John Boyega, Adam Driver, Oscar Isaac, Anthony Daniels, Domhnall Gleeson, Gwendoline Christie, Benicio del Toro, Laura Dern, Kelly Marie Tran, Lupita Nyong’o, and Andy Serkis. Here’s the official synopsis:
