‘Star Wars: The Last Jedi’: First Official Look At Rey, Finn & Poe Revealed

We have our first look at Rey, Finn and Poe from Star Wars: The Last Jedi courtesy of a sample for a toy box for Force Friday II.

It’s only been a day since we found out that The Last Jedi is heading to Star Wars Celebration Orlando with a panel that is set to feature director Rian Johnson and Kathleen Kennedy, but we already have some more news for Star Wars fans, as it’s officially been announced that Force Friday II will take place on September 1st.

Jimmy Pitaro, head of Disney Consumer Products and Interactive Media, had the following to say in a statement:

“The first Star Wars Force Friday event was truly unique, uniting fans across five continents in an unprecedented global live unboxing event ahead of thousands of midnight openings at retail. Plans for this year’s world-wide event are top secret but expect something befitting the excitement around the next episode of the Star Wars saga.”

Along with the announcement, Disney and Lucafilm have revealed a sample of a toy box, offering up our first look at Rey, Finn and Poe from Episode VIII. You can check that out below along with the Force Friday II logo.

Rey took her first steps into a larger world in Star Wars: The Force Awakens and will continue her epic journey with Finn, Poe, and Luke Skywalker in the next chapter of the continuing Star Wars saga, Star Wars: Episode VIII.

Starring Daisy Ridley, John Boyega, Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher, Adam Driver, Oscar Isaac, Lupita Nyong’o, Domhnall Gleeson, Anthony Daniels, Gwendoline Christie, Andy Serkis, Laura Dern, Kelly Marie Tran and Benicio del Toro, Star Wars: The Last Jedi opens in theaters on December 15, 2017.
