‘Star Wars: The Last Jedi’ Director Reacts To ‘The Rise Of Skywalker’ Trailer

It seems the trailer for Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker has other directors excited as The Last Jedi Director Rian Johnson shares his own reaction to the trailer.

Earlier today during the Star Wars Celebration in Chicago, Disney and Lucasfilm had their Episode IX panel. At it, they unveiled the first trailer for the upcoming Star Wars film and its official title, The Rise of Skywalker. Upon seeing it, The Last Jedi director Rian Johnson took to Twitter to express his feelings on the trailer.

According to the Tweet, The Last Jedi director loved everything about the trailer. It made him feel like a kid again. He then stated that he would be smiling for the rest of the day.

Carrie Fisher will appear as General Leia Organa through the use of previously unreleased footage shot for Star Wars: The Force Awakens.

Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker will be released in theaters on December 19, 2019.
