Virtual ‘Star Wars’ Convention Will Launch For May The 4th Celebration

A virtual Star Wars convention will launch next month for  2020’s upcoming May the 4th celebration.

2020 has sadly seen the majority of its conventions canceled due to ongoing concerns over the coronavirus. To combat this, many convention owners have opted to host virtual conventions where celebrities take part in panels and Q&As. Now a Star Wars convention will be joining these virtual conventions for May the 4th and May the 5th.

The upcoming virtual convention is being organized by Reedpop. This organization is also known for the Star Wars Celebration convention, New York Comic Con, and a number of other conventions across the world. The full name of the virtual convention will be Online Revelry: May the 4th Be With You and Revenge of the 5th.

The events taking place will include live-tweeting of the original Star Wars trilogy, Star Wars: Episode III- Revenge of the Sith, and Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker. Star Wars: The Clone Wars voice actress Ashley Eckstein will also participate in a Q&A. The virtual convention will also host Comic Round Table featuring several comic book writers and artists.
